At Singing Jo & Co we are committed to working as a team. We have two official members who help and support decision making around all aspects of the Charity. Board meetings are held to discuss all fundraising matters, finances and sponsors. Jo delivers all sessions along with the support of her team. As Head of the Charity, Jo is responsible for planning all the sessions where we use songs and rhymes as a resource to support and fulfil the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum. Jo is also responsible the general day to day running of the Charity, sourcing sponsors, updating the Charity Plan and ensuring all policies, financial matters and any legal matters pertaining to the Charity are kept up to date.
Each of our sessions are run by two experienced team members and we all have children of varying ages and endeavour to share our parenting experiences! Working in partnership with the community and Isle of Man Safeguarding Board, Singing Jo & Co aims to make sure that children using all sessions are protected and listened to. Singing JoJo Jackson
Leading Group for 10 years. Early Years Level 3 and Family Support Worker. Prior to leading singing group: Classroom Support Early Years – 7 years’ experience in a primary school. Teaching English as Foreign Language for 4 years and supporting children with a variety of additional needs. Jo is also responsible for all administration and legal duties pertaining to the Charity.
Fun FranFran Lythgoe
Mondays and Wednesdays – Support Team member for 6 years. Fran's other role away from singing is as a surface pattern designer and when we started the Charity Fran kindly designed our amazing logo.
Abracadabra AnneAnne Hughes
Support Team member for 10 years. Anne worked for The Children's Centre for a number of years supporting families mainly based in Peel , along with running a playgroup and providing assistance in administering parenting courses.
